Whale Watching IrelandDolphin Watching Ireland
Colin was the first to offer dolphin and whale watching cruises in Ireland. He came to learn the patterns of the dolphins and whales in the area during his career as a fisherman in the area. Colin knows just where to go, so sometimes you may get a sighting only 15 minutes from the start of the cruise. Whale Watching EuropeThere is a 85-90% chance of seeing dolphins or whales on any cruise, and you will be closer to the whales than most other whale watching trips you can take around the World. This is definitely the best whale watching trip in Europe. Dolphins and porpoises are resident off the coast of County Cork Ireland all year
round. The whales are more seasonal, resident here from June to January.
At any time of the year you are guaranteed to see grey seals and various species of sea birds you may never get to see from the land. Colin likes to make the trip educational, as well as fun. If time allows, he'll pull out a clump of seaweed so that the kids can examine the resident marine life, or perhaps get a few fishing rods out and let you try your hand at catching a fish. Everyone finds that fun!
You will also be treated to spectacular views of the West Cork coastline and islands with its harbour villages, lighthouses, castles, watch towers and more. Colin's boat, the Holly-Jo, is a catamaran built in 2001. It is unusually fast, but very safe and comfortable. There is a toilet on board and shelter in case of rain. Dolphin & Whale Watching
