Dolphin Pictures Taken off the Coast of Ireland

Common dolphins are resident off the coast of County Cork Ireland all year round. Between November and February the dolphins spend most of their time up close to the shore. The numbers of dolphins peak around the Winter solstice, when you might see 2-3,000 dolphins at a time!

Common dolphins are the most fun to watch, but they move so fast that it's hard to get a good picture of them! Bottlenose dolphins (or bottle nosed dolphins), rissos and striped dolphins come to the area from time to time.

Here is a selection of dolphin photos taken on our cruises.
